In my role as President of #SandtrayTherapyAssociationOfAustralia have been advocating in a small way but nonetheless building momentum and support for other Sandtray Therapists in Australian particularly in regional, remote and rural communities, for sandtray therapy to be a recognised expressive therapy by #NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme. I am aware of other small businesses that have been negatively impacted by the cuts to funding for NDIS participants on self-planned and Plan Managed plans. I am interested in gaining a clearer understanding of the impact of NDIS funding cuts on regional, remote and rural communities where sandtray therapy and other expressive therapists have been providing much needed evidence based therapies to many clients.
I am only one person trying to ensure that our voice is heard.
